A treatise on gear wheels
A technical manual on gear design by machinist and gear manufacturer George B. Grant, published in 1904 by his own Grant Gear Works in Boston for engineers, draftsmen and machine shops. The 146 line diagrams show toothed wheels, tooth-profile curves, rolling circles and labelled angle constructions in plain black on tinted paper, useful as geometric ornament, pattern stock or diagram lettering.
