Woolen and worsted finishing; a practical manual of instruction in the methods and machinery used in finishing woolen and worsted goods in general, and the processes involved in the special treatment of all types of standard fabrics
A 1909 technical manual on woolen and worsted finishing, issued in Chicago by the American School of Correspondence with John F. Timmermann, written to teach mill hands and students the machinery and sequence of cloth-finishing processes. Its plates are halftone and line engravings of single machines on blank grounds featuring belt-driven pulleys, gear trains, cast-iron frames, rollers and treadles, useful for cut-out mechanical silhouettes, pulley-and-belt diagrams and industrial spot illustration.
