A source book of problems for geometry, based upon industrial design and architectural ornament
A 1912 American geometry textbook by Mabel Sykes, published in Boston by Allyn and Bacon, setting exercises for high-school students on patterns drawn from industrial design and architectural ornament. The 289 line diagrams show rosettes, tracery and star figures built inside circles and squares, with construction lines dashed and points lettered, useful as ready-made geometric motifs or as grid scaffolding.
