Stöhr's histology, arranged upon an embryological basis
A medical school histology textbook by Philipp Stöhr, revised on embryological lines by Frederic Thomas Lewis and published in Philadelphia by P. Blakiston in 1906 for students of microscopy and anatomy. The 288 figures are fine pen-and-ink drawings of microscope sections, with stippled and hatched tissue masses, lettered leader lines, and cell walls forming irregular cellular networks.
