Final report of New York City's Commission on Building Districts and Restrictions, issued in 1916 by the Board of Estimate's Committee on the City Plan to argue the zoning rules adopted that year, and reissued here for the City Club of New York. Its plates are hand-lettered line diagrams: axonometric blocks of tenements and lofts marked with heights, lot depths, courts and yards, plus street-section profiles showing setback envelopes and height limits, useful for diagram vocabulary, rough hand lettering and simple black-outline massing forms.
