Free-hand drawing : a manual for teachers and students
A teaching manual on freehand drawing written by Anson K. Cross and published by Ginn & Company in Boston in 1898 for school teachers and drawing students. The plates are pen sketches of cubes, prisms, cylinders and hexagonal solids with construction lines and vanishing-point diagrams left visible, plus halftone photographs of plaster blocks lit to show cast shadow; useful for loose geometric line work, perspective scaffolding and simple tonal studies of form.
