The Architectural magazine
A monthly periodical on architecture edited by John Claudius Loudon, published in London from 1834 for architects, builders, and students. The numbered wood-engravings give lancet and traceried windows, moulding profiles, pier sections, gable and arch outlines, and construction details, drawn as flat line diagrams with hatched shading that suit reuse as Gothic ornament motifs or technical diagram borrowings.
