The boy's own book of indoor games and recreations : a popular encyclopædia for boys
A late-Victorian encyclopedia of indoor pastimes for boys, compiled by Gordon Stables and George Andrew Hutchison and issued in Philadelphia by J.B. Lippincott in 1890. The wood-engraved figures are instructional diagrams — clock movements, lever and pulley mechanisms, bracket and batten parts, jointed woodwork — drawn in fine parallel hatching with letter keys, useful as technical line ornament or cutaway detail.
