A technical manual on woven textile design and loom mechanics, written and self-published by Emanuel Anthony Posselt in Philadelphia in 1888 for mill designers, weavers and textile students. The line engravings divide between weave diagrams gridded point-paper drafts, interlacing warp and weft shown as hatched and cross-shaded blocks and mechanical sections of looms with harnesses, gears, levers and cams, all keyed with italic letters and numbers; useful as ready-made grid patterns, repeat structures and hatched machine schematics.
