The Ontario high school physics
A secondary-school physics textbook by F. W. Merchant and C. A. Chant, published in Toronto by Copp Clark in 1911 for Ontario high school classrooms. The line engravings are small black-and-white diagrams of apparatus — magnet poles, commutator rings, discharge tubes, coils — with lettered points, dashed axes and curved arrows marking direction, useful as schematic marks, arrow sets and instrument silhouettes.
