How to, a book of tumbling, tricks, pyramids and games;
An 1899 instruction manual of tumbling, acrobatic tricks, human pyramids and games, written and self-published in Chicago by gymnastics teacher Horace Butterworth for boys' clubs, school gymnasiums and YMCA instructors. The 213 pictures are small pen-and-ink figure drawings in heavy outline, showing handsprings, headstands, backbends, spotting holds and stacked pyramids against blank ground, useful as silhouettes, pictogram sequences and loose-line figure studies.
