Radford's cyclopedia of construction; carpentry, building and architecture. Based on the practical experience of a large staff of experts in actual constrcution work
A multi-volume trade reference on carpentry, building and architecture, compiled by Alfred Sidney Johnson and William A. Radford and issued by the Radford Architectural Co. in Chicago in 1909 for builders, contractors and students. The plates are line drawings of construction details—plan, section and elevation of concrete trestles, arch bridges, floor framing and reinforcing bars—with hand-lettered labels, dimension lines and hatched earth and masonry usable as diagram texture.
