Airplane design and construction
A 1919 McGraw-Hill engineering manual by Italian aircraft builder Ottorino Pomilio, written in New York for aeronautical designers and students calculating wing loads, spars, and structural members. The plates are line diagrams in black on cream stock: graphical-statics force polygons, bending-moment and load curves, hatched shading between ordinates, and small printed scales of weights, lengths, and moments annotated in pounds and inches, useful as ready-made technical linework and chart furniture.
