Automobile driving self-taught; an exhaustive treatise on the operation, management and care of motor cars
A self-instruction manual on operating, maintaining and repairing motor cars, written by Thomas Herbert Russell and issued in Chicago by Charles C. Thompson in 1912 for owner-drivers and mechanics. The plates are line diagrams printed on tinted stock: gearbox shafts and clutch discs in cutaway outline, wiring schematics with lettered terminals, and labelled sections through generators and condensers, useful as schematic line art, technical lettering, and mechanical outline motifs.
