Elementary lessons in steam machinery and the marine steam engine, with a short description of the construction of a battleship
A technical textbook on steam machinery, marine engines and battleship construction by Joseph Langmaid and H. Gaisford, published by Macmillan in London and New York in 1893 for naval engineering students and apprentices. The plates are engraved sectional views of bearings, valves, glands and shafting, with parts keyed by letters and cut surfaces filled with dense diagonal hatching; useful for hatching textures, cutaway conventions and small labelled machine parts.
