Manufacture of narrow woven fabrics, ribbons, trimmings, edgings, etc., giving description of the various yarns used. The construction of weaves and novelties in fabric structures, also descriptive matter as to looms, etc
A technical manual on weaving narrow fabrics—ribbons, trimmings, edgings—written by Philadelphia textile instructor E. A. Posselt and published there in 1917 for mill hands, designers, and loom operators. Its figures are black-and-white weave diagrams: gridded point-paper drafts of filled and crossed squares, interlacing warp-and-weft line drawings, zigzag threading paths, and lettered loom mechanism sketches.
