A monthly trade periodical for West Coast architects, engineers and builders, published in San Francisco from 1905 and read by practising professionals. Halftone photographs of finished buildings — a domed synagogue with rose window, a gabled stone house behind a rubble wall — sit alongside pencil elevation drawings, giving designers period building views, framed plates and line renderings of facades and campaniles.
