Early Connecticut houses; an historical and architectural study
An architectural survey of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Connecticut dwellings by Norman M. Isham and Albert F. Brown, published in Providence in 1900 for architects, antiquarians, and preservationists. Pen-and-ink measured drawings dominate: cutaway sections through chimney stacks and framed roofs, dimensioned floor plans with hatched masonry, framing diagrams, and small exterior views of clapboard houses drawn in firm outline with hand-lettered annotations.
