Elements of mechanical drawing
A school textbook on mechanical drawing by Christine Sullivan, published in 1893 by the American Book Company in New York and Cincinnati for students learning drafting by hand. The plates are line-only diagrams printed on tan stock: triangles, squares set on point, circles and projection views, many filled with close parallel hatching, plus dashed construction lines tying plan to elevation \u2014 useful as ready-made geometric marks, hatch textures and diagram grammar.
