Architect and engineer
A monthly architectural trade journal published in San Francisco from 1905, written for West Coast architects, engineers and contractors and filled with project reports, plans and advertising. The plates mix ink-and-crayon perspective renderings of massive pier-and-window facades with halftone photographs of stucco courtyard housing, balcony walkways and window grids, plus small line floor plans set into gridded photo pages — useful for architectural line work, hatching textures, plan diagrams and period layout arrangements.
