Cyclopedia of architecture, carpentry, and building : a general reference work
A multi-volume trade reference on architecture, carpentry, and building issued by the American Technical Society in Chicago in 1912 for draftsmen, carpenters, and self-taught builders. The plates are line drawings from the drafting board: labelled floor plans with dimension lines, room names in stencil-like lettering, and centred caption blocks naming architect and client, useful as measured-drawing texture and technical lettering.
