Journal
A technical journal issued by the Society of Glass Technology in Sheffield from 1917, carrying research papers and patent abstracts for glassmakers, furnace engineers and works chemists. The plates are line-drawn sectional diagrams of bottle machines, feeders, moulds and furnaces, densely hatched to show cut metal and keyed with small numbers and italic letters, useful as ready-made engineering patterns, machine silhouettes and annotation styles.
