A 1918 instruction manual issued by the Wright-Martin Aircraft Corporation of New Brunswick, New Jersey, for mechanics servicing the Hispano-Suiza V-8 aircraft engine built under Birkigt patents. Halftone photographs show the assembled engine in three-quarter view, cutaway water pumps and magneto drives, cylinder blocks, wrenches and timing discs, many with parts silhouetted against the page and numbered with leader arrows.
