A 1910 technical manual by Charles Sutterley Linch, published in Boston by the American Steam Gauge and Valve Mfg. Co. for marine engineers reading steam-engine indicator diagrams. The plates are traced pressure-volume loops in thin pen line on tinted stock, each labelled with horsepower and mean effective pressure figures in slanted script, usable as abstract closed-curve diagrams and handwritten annotation.
