A mail-order house-plan catalogue issued in 1893 by Grand Rapids architect D. S. Hopkins, sold to builders and families choosing a modest frame dwelling. Each plate pairs a line-drawn perspective of a gabled cottage, shingled and porched, with small labelled floor plans set above it, all in fine pen hatching on open white ground, offering ready-made vernacular house elevations, plan diagrams and hand-lettered captions.
