A textbook on mechanical and electrical engineering
A 1902 instructional volume issued by the International Correspondence Schools in Scranton, Pennsylvania, teaching mechanical drawing and machine design to correspondence students. The plates are line-engraved working drawings: sectioned shafts, bearings, gear-tooth layouts and clamp boxes rendered in fine hatching, dotted center lines and dimension arrows, useful as technical-diagram texture, hatch patterns and annotated section motifs.
