Architect and engineer
Architect and Engineer was a monthly trade journal published in San Francisco from 1905 for West Coast architects, engineers, and builders, carrying project reports, technical articles, and advertising. Its halftone photographs show completed commercial and industrial buildings — curtain-wall office blocks, ribbon windows, cantilevered canopies, street corners with parked cars — plus oblique roof and stair views, useful as grey-toned modernist architectural stock and grid-pattern facade texture.
