The architecture of Provence and the Riviera
A survey of medieval building in southern France by Scottish architect David MacGibbon, published in Edinburgh in 1888 for architects, antiquarians and travellers. The plates are pen-and-ink sketches of Romanesque churches, cloisters, arcaded courtyards and barrel-vaulted passages, drawn with dense hatching and open white walls, alongside measured plans and section details useful as line-art architecture, texture studies or decorative arch motifs.
