Machine design
A 1906 machine design textbook by Charles H. Benjamin, issued in New York by Henry Holt for engineering students and draughtsmen. Its 60 figures are line drawings of shafts, keys, couplings and bearings, mostly sectional views with diagonal hatching and single-letter labels, giving designers a stock of clean mechanical cutaways and hatch-fill patterns.
