Principles and practice of electrical engineering
A 1914 McGraw-Hill textbook by Alexander Gray, written for engineering students and practising electrical engineers in New York. The 353 figures are line-drawn circuit diagrams on tan stock: armatures with dot-and-cross winding symbols, coil spirals, rheostat ladders, labelled voltage arrows and lettered terminals, useful as schematic vocabulary, arrow-and-bracket annotation, and repeating coil motifs.
