Physical health and recreation for girls; a handbook for girls and volunteer leaders
A 1920 handbook of exercises, games and health advice for girls and the volunteer leaders who taught them, written by Mary Eliza Moxcey and issued in New York and Cincinnati by the Methodist Book Concern. The illustrations are brush-and-ink outline drawings of girls lying on the floor in stages of a movement, with heavy contour lines, no shading, and blank ground, giving designers clean single-figure silhouettes and pose sequences.
