Structural analysis and design of airplanes

United States. Army. Air Corps · 1920 · [Washington] · 147 pictures

A technical engineering manual issued by the United States Army Air Corps in Washington around 1920, written for military aeronautical engineers and draftsmen sizing airplane structures. The plates are plain ink line drawings: propeller and fitting plans with section cuts, lettered geometric force diagrams, dimensioned wing-spar load lines, and biplane front elevations showing struts, wires and landing gear, all usable as spare linear diagram motifs and annotated technical figures.
