The American house carpenter:
A builder's manual of carpentry and architectural drawing by Robert Griffith Hatfield, published in New York and London by Wiley and Putnam in 1844 for working carpenters and apprentices. The plates are line diagrams: arch and vault constructions, curve-striking methods, roof framing and stair geometry, lettered a-b-c at each point, with thick black outlines against thin construction lines; useful as ready-made geometric linework, arc sequences and annotated technical figures.
