Architect and engineer
A San Francisco trade monthly begun in 1905 by Architect and Engineer, Inc., reporting new West Coast building work to practicing architects, engineers, and contractors. Halftone photographs show modern factories, schools, and shop interiors in flat daylight: ribbon windows in raking perspective, concrete piers and beam grids, cast shadows across bare floors, plus plans and structural details.
