The Architectural review and American builders' journal
A monthly trade journal of architecture and building edited by Philadelphia architect Samuel Sloan with Charles J. Lukens, issued in 1869 for architects, builders and clients. Plates run to line-engraved floor plans with solid black walls and hatched joists, plus elevations of gabled houses drawn with ruled coursing, dormers and chimneys, useful as diagrammatic pattern and architectural linework.
