Cyclopedia of textile work : a general reference library on cotton, woolen and worsted yarn manufacture, weaving, designing, chemistry and dyeing, finishing, knitting, and allied subjects
A multi-volume technical reference on cotton, woolen, and worsted manufacture issued in 1911 by the American School of Correspondence in Chicago for mill workers and students studying by mail. The plates are line-engraved machine diagrams — gear trains, cams, belt drives, and loom mechanisms with lettered part keys — useful as schematic linework, repeating gear and pulley motifs, and annotated diagram layouts.
