Handbook for the use of electricians in the operation and care of electrical machinery and apparatus of the U.S. seacoast defenses
A U.S. War Department technical manual issued by the Government Printing Office in 1902, compiled under George L. Anderson to train Army electricians running generators, switchboards and searchlights in seacoast fortifications. The 170 figures are line-engraved wiring diagrams, sectioned machine views with hatched cutaways, and lettered part keys, useful as sources of schematic linework, coil and armature forms, and labelled cross-sections.
