Lambert's suburban architecture
A mail-order plan catalogue issued by architect Wm A. Lambert in 1894, selling stock designs for suburban houses to American builders and prospective homeowners. The plates are line-engraved floor plans with hatched walls, bay windows, stair arrows and hand-lettered room names and dimensions, useful as period drafting lettering, black-and-white pattern fields and architectural diagram motifs.
