Perspective and geometrical drawing adapted to the use of candidates for second and third-class teachers' certificates
A drawing manual by Thomas H. McGuirl, published in Toronto by W. Briggs in 1887 for candidates sitting Ontario's second- and third-class teachers' certificate examinations. The plates are line-only perspective and geometry constructions on tinted stock: vanishing points, horizon and ground lines, circles inscribed in squares, spirals and projected cubes, all labelled with serif capitals and thin ruled guide lines usable as diagram texture or technical ornament.
