Illustrated catalogue and general description of improved machine tools for working metal
A trade catalogue of metalworking machine tools issued by William Sellers & Co. of Philadelphia in 1899, printed by the Levytype Company for engineers, foundry owners and factory buyers. The plates are sepia halftone photographs of shop interiors and individual lathes, planers and presses: wide leather belts, flywheels, line shafting, brick walls and cast-iron frames, useful for industrial texture, machine silhouettes and period factory scenes.
