Cyclopedia of textile work : a general reference library on cotton, woollen and worsted yarn manufacture, weaving, designing, chemistry and dyeing, finishing, knitting, and allied subjects
A multi-volume technical reference on cotton, wool and worsted spinning, weaving, dyeing and knitting, issued in 1907 by the American School of Correspondence in Chicago for students taking correspondence courses in mill work. The plates are line-engraved machine diagrams — loom frames, cams, gear trains, belt drives and pulley linkages — drawn in thin even outline with lettered call-outs, useful as ready-made schematic ornament, pattern sources for gears and wheels, or diagrammatic backgrounds.
