Textile raw materials and their conversion into yarns : (the study of the raw materials and the technology of the spinning process) a text-book for textile, trade and higher technical schools, as also for self-instruction ; based upon the ordinary syllabus and curriculum of the Imperial and Royal Austrian weaving schools
A technical textbook on textile fibres and spinning by Julius Zipser, translated by Charles Salter and published in London by Scott, Greenwood in 1901, following the syllabus of the Austrian Imperial and Royal weaving schools for trade and technical students. The plates are line-engraved sectional and elevation diagrams of spinning machinery—gilling frames, drawing and roving machines—with belts, rollers and arrowed drive paths keyed by italic letters, useful for schematic mechanical linework and lettered callouts.
