Mechanical drawing; a treatise on the drawing of mechanical and machine details
A 1920 instructional treatise on mechanical drawing by Franklin D. Jones, published by The Industrial Press in New York for machinists, draftsmen and trade-school students. The plates are line diagrams credited to Machinery magazine: orthographic projections, sectional views with ruled crosshatching, dimension lines with arrowheads and letters, and hexagon and ellipse constructions, all usable as geometric linework, hatch patterns and technical-drawing notation.
