Mechanical drawing. Elementary and advanced
A 1910 instructional manual on mechanical drawing by John S. Reid, published by John Wiley & Sons in New York for engineering students and draftsmen learning projection, lettering, and instrument work. The plates are hard-line engineerings figures: orthographic projections, intersections and developments of solids, screw threads in section, all built from thin ruled lines, dashed construction lines, hatching, and small italic point labels that can be lifted as geometric line art or diagram texture.
