Jacquard mechanism and harness mounting
A technical manual on Jacquard looms and harness mounting by Fred Bradbury, published in Manchester by John Heywood Ltd. in 1912 for textile mill workers, loom tuners and weaving students. The 146 plates are line-engraved machine diagrams: lever linkages, cam wheels, hook and needle arrays, punched-card cylinders, warp threading schemes and grid-plotted point-paper weave designs, with letter and number keys throughout \u2014 a source of fine parallel hatching, dot matrices and mechanical schematics.
