Modern homes.
A mail-order house-plan catalogue issued around 1920 by the National Plan Service of Chicago for the Lyon & Billard lumber company, sold to prospective home builders choosing a small-house design. The 245 plates are inked floor plans with hatched walls, swing-arc doors, labeled rooms and dimension lines, plus stock numbers — usable as line-art diagrams, pattern fills and technical lettering.
