A 1922 trade volume on buildings issued in Chicago by the Engineering and Contracting Publishing Company for builders, civil engineers and contractors. The plates are line-drawn sections, plans and details \u2014 ore bins, shafts, track layouts, reinforced concrete arches \u2014 built from hatched fills, dimension strings, callout letters and hand-lettered notes that supply ready-made technical drawing textures and diagram vocabulary.
