A technical manual on building construction and superintendence by architect-engineer Frank E. Kidder, published in New York by Comstock in 1909 for builders, architects and site superintendents. Line drawings show masonry walls, hollow tile floors, I-beams and reinforcing bars in axonometric cutaway and section, using hatching, stipple and cross-section shading that designers can lift as texture and diagram vocabulary.
