The plan book of American dwellings : being a compilation of original home designs, showing actual photographic exteriors and floor plans of moderately priced bungalows, cottages, residences
A 1914 house-plan catalogue issued by Minneapolis architect Glenn L. Saxton, pairing photographs of built bungalows, cottages and residences with their floor plans for prospective middle-income homebuyers. The plans are black-and-white line drawings with heavy poché walls, hatched porch roofs, labelled rooms and dimensions in a period stencil lettering, useful as geometric pattern stock, diagram vocabulary, or ready-made typographic captions.
